Dana Alneyadi (b. 2004) is a self taught artist working primarily with oil paint with a practice developed independently through observation and experimentation throughout the years.

"My work is rooted in noticing the small details that often go overlooked, a subtle presence of objects or moments around us that we dont really pay attention to. I isolate these ordinary moments allowing them to become the focus. making each object/painting hint at a moment, a routine, or a passing thought. I always tell people there isn’t any pressure on my paintings to explain or dramatize, but rather to look at and pay attention to the details and the story that the painting may tell you.While elements of my emarati culture and tradition occasionally appear in some of my paintings, such as an oud bottle, henna on hands, or familiar cultural references, my work is not limited to heritage but the blend of personal observations, and moments that i have grown up seeing around me.“
